This stunning area exhibits traditional culture, including the history and customs of the Jeju people. All of the exhibits here were donated by haenyeo, with the actual haenyeo house also being donated and moved. The garden was the gathering place for the women's anti-Japanese movement in January 1932, and the Jeju Haenyeo Anti-Japanese Movement Monument was erected to show the strength of Jeju women.

Seopjikoji, with the exquisite coastal scenery of Seongsan Ilchulbong in the background, protrudes from the eastern coast of Jeju. You can experience the beauty of Jeju at the white sandy Shinyang Beach for starters and move on to the rapeseed field on the plain at the top of the hill at the end. See Jeju ponies grazing leisurely and marvel at the coastal cliffs surrounded by rock outcroppings and the legendary towering Seonbawi Rock.
